After years of working with the same general contractor, Pega made the strategic decision to transition to a new partner in order to bring fresh creative thinking, new operational capabilities, and renewed energy to the PegaWorld 2026 exhibit experience. Replacing the general contractor for an established customer event spanning 100,000 sq ft of exhibit space and 50,000 sq ft of meeting space introduced significant operational complexity, requiring seamless coordination across exhibitor services, logistics, on-site execution, and labor. Having built a trusted relationship with Nth Degree and INVNT over many years, Pega looked within the Nth Degree family of companies for a general contractor that could deliver both fresh thinking and seamless execution.
Pega partnered with Fern as its new general contractor to introduce creative and operational enhancements across the event. Fern redesigned turnkey booths, upgraded meeting spaces, enhanced branding, and introduced new custom environments with custom LED lighting to highlight key learning areas throughout the Innovation Hub. The team also streamlined graphic installation and branding, delivered custom meeting rooms on the show floor that created quiet, private spaces for conversations, and resolved noise challenges from previous years. Supported by INVNT’s event leadership and Nth Degree’s experienced national labor force, Fern managed labor planning, installation, and onsite execution for the event.
In its first year as Pega’s general contractor, Fern delivered a seamless transition while successfully executing a record-breaking installation timeline. The team expertly executed a complex installation on schedule, completed graphic installation flawlessly, and finished material handling ahead of schedule with not one missing piece. Despite industry-wide labor challenges, Nth Degree provided the experienced workforce needed to support the event’s scale and complexity, ensuring seamless execution from installation through dismantle. The successful transition validated Pega’s decision to move to Fern, delivering a refreshed event experience while maintaining the operational excellence attendees, exhibitors, sponsors and stakeholders have come to expect.
