Transforming the Caesars Forum ballroom into a full-service exhibition center began by protecting over 100,000 sf of carpeting for load-in and out. Because the lower ceilings were not designed to meet the rigging and signage needs of an expo, in-house estimates to provide a fix reached $70,000.
Working with WQA and in-house services, Fern devised a flexible, floor-mounted solution for banners, signage, and exhibit structures, saving $70,000. The process also provided an opportunity to include WQA and exhibitors on site to quickly generate concepts to enhance the look, functionality, efficiency, and connectivity of their next event.
The challenges presented at Caesars Form provided WQA with an opportunity to think differently about branding their annual event. As a result of the positive collaboration on site in Vegas, Fern’s design team also led the redesign of the WQA brand that debuted at the Aquatech trade show in Amsterdam.
Fern’s experienced installation & dismantle services team was able to provide alternative solutions that were essential to transforming a plush ballroom into a hard-working expo floor. From reconfiguring load-in and load-out processes to introducing new floor-mounted exhibit elements and signage solutions, Fern’s team turned problems into opportunities for WQA.
